PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable assembly and method for manufacturing the cable assembly in which characteristic impedance at a projected end part of a first wire of a cable can be reduced, and the cable assembly can be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A cable assembly A1 comprises a terminal 400a, a cable 100, and a conductive member 200. The cable 100 has: an outer insulator 110; a shield conductor 120 arranged inside the outer insulator 110; and a first wire 130a being at least one signal line arranged inside the shield conductor 120. The first wire 130a has a projection part Pa projecting in a Y-Y' direction from the shield conductor 120 and the outer insulator 110. A core wire 132a of the projection part Pa is connected to a terminal 400a. The conductive member 200 is a conductive plate or a conductive tape wound to at least a part of the projection part Pa in the Y-Y' direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
