PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension/contraction device and an opening/closing device for an opening/closing body that use an interposing member without a distortion in form.SOLUTION: The extension/contraction device includes: a rotary driving member rotatably driven by driving force of a driving part; a driving force transmission member connected to a tip of an inner tube, being driven by the rotary driving member, and moving along an axis of rotation of the rotary driving member; and an elastic member disposed on an outer periphery of the driving force transmission member and coming in contact with the tip of the inner tube for providing energizing force to the driving force transmission member in a direction of the axis of rotation, the elastic member including an interposing member (24) housed in a space inside an outer tube and the inner tube, disposed on an outer periphery of the inner tube and interposed between the inner tube and the outer tube. The interposing member (24) comprises a plurality of constituent parts (31a, 31b) having a length in a lengthwise direction of the outer tube. The constituent part (31a) is relatively movable with regard to the other constituent part (31b), so that the interposing member (24) expands outward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
