The present invention provides a thin film transistor which is able to display an image having a uniform brightness, and a display device comprising the same. The thin film transistor of the present invention comprises: a gate electrode; a gate insulating film placed on the gate electrode; a semiconductor layer placed on the gate insulating film; a source electrode and a drain electrode which are placed apart from each other on the semiconductor layer; and a protecting layer which are placed on the source electrode and the drain electrode, and have a contact hole to expose some part of the drain electrode. The drain electrode comprises: a first drain electrode which is overlapped with some part of the gate electrode; a second drain electrode which is extended from the first drain electrode and has some part exposed by the contact hole; and a third drain electrode which is branched from the first drain electrode and placed apart from the second drain electrode.
