PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve capable of being preferably used in the piping of a water heater or others through which hot water flows, and capable of securing a desired flow rate.SOLUTION: The check valve 1 has a cylindrical body 2 having a valve seat 2b, a valve shaft 4 slidably arranged in the body and having a flange 4b, an outer peripheral part 5a formed in a disk shape by an elastic body as a whole and contacting and separating from the valve seat, a valve body 5 which has a disk-like center part 5b having large plate thickness than the outer peripheral part and of which the center part abuts on the flange of the valve shaft, a coil spring 6 pushing and pressing the flange of the valve shaft to the valve seat side, and a cylindrical part extending from the flange of the valve shaft in the direction opposite to the direction of the valve body. The generation of an end in the downstream side of the flange of the valve shaft is prevented, and smooth liquid flowing can be achieved when fluid flowing in by the valve body being separated from the valve seat flows to the valve shaft side passing between the inside surface of the body and the flange of the valve shaft, thereby the desired flowing rate corresponding to the size of a gap between the inside surface of the body, the flange of the valve shaft, and the cylindrical part can be secured. |
