PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and a start guide program which can motivate the introduction of a new application program or the like to a user.SOLUTION: The information processor associates installed items with icon images corresponding to the items to store them, and displays a guide screen obtained by arranging the icon images of the installed items to guide a start of the items. Also, the image processor acquires an icon image corresponding to an item that is not stored, and displays a guide screen obtained by including the icon image of the item that is not stored in the arrangement of the icon images of the installed items such that the icon image is not distinguished from the stored items.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
