PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS system and a registration device that allow a shop to quickly grasp and deal with an unsettled transaction in which a merchandise registration is completed but a settlement process by a customer is not completed.SOLUTION: The POS system includes: registration registers 21 and 22 that register merchandise information on merchandise to be purchased; and settlement registers 31 and 32 that execute a settlement process on the basis of a purchase amount of the merchandise registered by the registration registers 21 and 22. The POS system is configured to comprise: control means that notifies other device of unsettled transaction information indicative of a transaction not completing the settlement process on the basis of registration completion information indicative of registration completion of merchandise information in registration registers 21 and 22 for each transaction and settlement state information indicative of whether or not execution of the settlement process in the settlement registers 31 and 32 is completed for each transaction. |
