The method involves arranging curved connecting bar (50) in housing (20), such that contact elements (40,45) on handle side (30) of housing are opened from outside for connection of overcurrent protection units. A first rail end (51) of connection bar is connected directly or indirectly with contact element. A second rail end (52) of connection bar is electrically connected to power rail (100). The curved connecting bar is oriented transversely to handle side, such that sliding of current transformer (70) at handle side via contact element (40) is possible over housing interior. An independent claim is included for electrical safety device.
