摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a driving method thereof which prevent variations in current value due to the characteristic variations and deterioration of light-emitting elements.SOLUTION: This invention provides a method of driving a display device including a transistor 2105, a capacitive element 2107, a light-emitting element, a source signal line 2101, and a current supply line 2108, the light-emitting element emitting light with brightness corresponding to the current value decided by the transistor 2105, the method including the operations for: inputting a first potential to the source of the transistor 2105; inputting a video signal to the gate of the transistor 2105 from the source signal line 2101; and holding a potential difference decided according to the first potential and the video signal in the capacitive element 2107 and changing the potential of the source of the transistor 2105 into a second potential. The capacitive element 2107 holds the gate-source voltage of the transistor 2105, so that even when the potential of the first electrode of the transistor 2105 is changed, the gate-source voltage is made constant to make the current value constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
