PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a battery pack in an accurate size.SOLUTION: The battery pack manufacturing method includes the steps of: preparing a plurality of unit cells each including an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode and a container for housing the electrode body therein; sorting the plurality of unit cells into a plurality of thickness ranks in accordance with the thickness of the electrode body that is housed in each of the unit cells, in an array direction; and constructing the battery pack by arraying a predetermined number of unit cells in the array direction and restricting them while applying a load in the array direction. The step for constructing the battery pack is implemented in such a manner that a length of the battery pack in the array direction is adapted to a specific length by selectively combining the predetermined number of unit cells to be used for constructing the battery pack from two or more thickness ranks among the plurality of thickness ranks into which the unit cells have been sorted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
