A display device and an electronic apparatus are provided to reduce the number of wired patterns by compensating for deviation of luminance due to deviation of a threshold voltage of a second transistor and supplying a fixed potential at signal lines. A display device includes a pixel circuit(32) having matrix type pixels and drivers(34,35) for driving the pixel circuit. Each of the pixels includes a capacitor(C1), an illumination element(8), and first, second, third, and fourth transistors(TR1,TR2,TR3,TR5). The first transistor turned on and off by a record signal connects one end of the capacitor with a signal line. A gate of the second transistor is connected to the one end of the capacitor and a source thereof is connected to the other end of the capacitor. A cathode of the illumination element is maintained as a cathode voltage level and an anode thereof is connected to the source of the second transistor. The third transistor is turned on and off by a driving pulse signal. The fourth transistor is turned on and off by a control signal.
