PURPOSE:To make it possible to cope with a change in a machining surface of a work in a workplace by arranging a fixed-cycle process means, a 1st return command means, and 2nd return command means, thereby only changing an initial point without cancelling the fixed cycle. CONSTITUTION:By means of a fixed-cycle process means 8, a required change is made to a reference initial point to set a corrected initial point and to perform a required process. Accordingly, in a program for machining it has only to write in an initial point changing command and an initial point change cancelling command. According to the result, either a 1st return command means 10a or a 2nd return command means 10b is selected. The 1st return command means 10a issues a return command to return to the corrected reference initial point and the 2nd return command means 10b issues a return command to return to the reference initial point.
