<p>PURPOSE: To change a combination of characters in a permutation chamber without disassembling and without using a special tool when the permutation chamber is provided. CONSTITUTION: A push-button lock arrangement 1 has a permutation chamber 5 and combination of characters in the permutation chamber can be changed without dismantling the lock arrangement or using special tools. The permutation chamber can be set to a reset mode by causing a cam capable of being turned by a simple screw driver to urge an end part of a lockout slide of the permutation chamber. The lock arrangement has a rotatable stop member 41 and a stationary stopper. The rotatable stop member is connected to an outer door knob so that rotation of the outdoor knob 17 is restricted to a predetermined rotation angle.</p> |
