PURPOSE:To promote sales while providing the factors of a public lottery for the purchase of merchandise without loading any burden on a casher and without forming any illegal action by calculating privilege data when the unit code of article is inputted, and performing privilege processing such as discounting when the privilege data are coincident with set data. CONSTITUTION:When a customer inputs the unit code of article to be purchased by using a scanner 22 or a keyboard 16, based on the unit code, article sale data are acquired at a POS terminal, the sales is registered on a memory 13a by transactions, the price of the sold article is added to an amount summing-up device 13d and further, a privilege point is automatically calculated based on the inputted unit code and added to a privilege point summing-up device 13e. When a sub total key is inputted, the contents of the privilege point summing-up device 13e are compared with the date of that day in a date memory 13c and when both of them are coincident, the total amount of the amount summing-up device 13d is processed at the discount rate set in a discount rate memory 13b. |
