<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contamination of a gas system during non-fuel gas operation, and to enable leakage detection when the system is filled with inert gas, in a large-sized turbo supercharging type two-stroke diesel engine having a high pressure fuel gas injection system and a high pressure fuel oil injection system. <P>SOLUTION: When an engine is not operated by fuel gas, high pressure in a fuel gas injection system is kept by substantially inert gas.
