A high-speed radial tire for heavy load comprises a carcass which includes a carcass cords made of organic fibers inclined at an angle of 75 to 90 deg. against the tire's equator, a belt layer which includes belt cords made of organic fiber inclined at an angle of 5 deg. or less against the tire's equator and is disposed outside the carcass, and a cut breaker which includes a supplemental cords inclined at an angle of 0 to 70 deg. against the tire's equator and is disposed between the carcass and belt layer. The carcass cords are made of an elastic cords of which stretch S (X) upon load with 5 kg is 5 to 10.
