<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with operation for restarting a cruise control, even when one's own vehicle turns to the right or the turns left during the cruise control. <P>SOLUTION: When starting operation of a turn indicator 3 is detected by a turn indicator operation detection section 12, a travel position specifying section 13 specifies the travel position and travel direction of own vehicle. When a travel lane determination section 14 determines that the lane where own vehicle is presently traveling allows the vehicle to turn in the direction commanded by a driver, an intersection specifying section 15 specifies the intersection most appropriate to the timing of starting the operation of the turn indicator 3, of intersections existing on the travel direction side of own vehicle. A target acceleration calculating section 18 calculates a target acceleration for turning at the intersection.
