<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a vehicle drive device, for suppressing the blow-up of the engine during shifting when the engine is started, which is provided with an engine, an electric differential part in which the differential state of the rotating speed of an input axis and the rotating speed of an output axis, which are connected to the engine, is controlled according as the operation state of an electric motor connected to the rotating element of a differential mechanism is controlled and a transmission part configuring a portion of a power transmission path from the electric differential part to drive wheels. <P>SOLUTION: When starting an engine 8 during shifting of an automatic transmission part 20, the pressure of the locking device of the automatic transmission part 20 is properly controlled according to the start state of the engine 8 so that the torque capacity of the automatic transmission part 20 can be increased, and it is possible to cope with the sharp increase of torque due to the start of the engine 8, and therefore the blow-up of the engine 8 due to the shortage of the torque capacity of the automatic transmission part 20 can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
