PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a shape of an object with high accuracy even under a situation that the rear side of the object cannot be imaged.

SOLUTION: When projecting the object shown in an image from a viewpoint position of the image to a projective space in each of the plurality of images imaged from an object periphery, projection areas projected from a projection surface in the projective space to a projection face separated in a depth direction by a prescribed length are detected, and a common portion among the respective detected projection areas is extracted.
