<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for more improving user convenience in a scene simultaneously photographing a plurality of main objects. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises an imaging unit, a memory, and a control unit. The imaging unit images an object to produce data of an image. Regarding a plurality of registered objects to be recognized, the memory records therein feature information corresponding to each of the registered objects. On the basis of the feature information, the control unit recognizes a registered object included in the image.
