<p>PURPOSE: To provide a flue gas desulfurizer occupying only a small space. CONSTITUTION: A waste gas outlet duct 19 is installed in the upper part of an absorber 15 into which waste gas is introduced and a liquid absorbent is sprayed. The 1st eliminators 21 in which liquid absorbent adsorbing elements 21a are arranged side by side and the 2nd eliminators 22 in which liquid absorbent adsorbing elements 22a are arranged side by side more densely than the 1st eliminators 21 are fitted in the cross sectional direction of the waste gas outlet duct 19, thereby it is not necessary to install the 2nd eliminators 22 outside the absorber 15, and a flue gas desulfurizer is installed in a small space sufficient to house the absorber 15.</p> |
