<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for applying an inkjet recording material with such advantages that a heating-drying process is not required when the composition is used as a coating solution, a coating film can be formed in a short time only with the help of active energy beams, an inorganic sol composed of a conventionally used inorganic porous substance e.g. silica and alumina is not required, and a highly stable/glossy and uniform coating film can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: This composition for applying an inkjet recording material of an active energy beam curing type contains (i) a radical polymerizable oligomer, (ii) a radical polymerizable monomer, (iii) a quaternary ammonium salt represented by formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>6</SP>, R<SP>7</SP>are a 1 to 12C alkyl group or aralkyl group which may have a phenyl group, Y(-) is Cl<SP>-</SP>, Br<SP>-</SP>, I<SP>-</SP>, SO<SB>4</SB>H<SP>-</SP>or CH<SB>3</SB>COO<SP>-</SP>) and (iv) an alkaloid-based chemical compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
