There is provided a molded plastics framework for an above-ground swimming pool which includes an endless molded base member (14) having post sockets (34), wall retaining grooves (32), and a co ntinuous cove (26) integral therewith. The base member is made up of a plurality of identical molded modules which are connected together end to end to make up the endless base member (14). Molded plastics posts (16) are secured in the base socket (34) and extend upwardly in a spaced apart manner and receive an endless coping made up of molded coping segments connected end to end above the posts (16).
