<p>A stud (22) for a partition has a pair of longitudinally telescopic members (28a, 28b) and a series of detents (40a, 42a, 42b) for holding the members (28a, 28b) in a series of relative positions. The detents (40a, 42a, 42b) can be in the form of a series of depressions on one member and a series of rounded or tapered protuberances on the other member. Each of the members (28a, 28b) forming the stud are preferably U-shaped.</p> |
