摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for a control rod drive mechanism for inspecting a control rod drive mechanism without taking out fuel. SOLUTION: A control rod friction measurement test device 28 is connected to communicate with a hydropressure control unit 19. In inspecting the control rod drive mechanism, first, water pressurized in the control rod friction measurement test device 28 is sent through a hydropressure control unit 19 and guided to the control rod drive mechanism, and a latch 11 of a hollow piston 7 is geared with latch holes 13 in a guide tube 12 to hold the control rods 9 at total insertion position. Then, a motor 1 of the control rod drive mechanism and belonging components are removed. Then, after inspection, the motor 1 and the belonging components are attached again. By maintaining the total insertion position of the control rods 9 and ensuring subcriticality of the reactor, the control rod drive mechanism can be inspected without taking out the fuel 10.
