PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing window-opened, thread-containing paper in which the thread is exposed in the intermittently formed opened window portions, which has the thread surely exposed in the opened window sites and capable of being clearly observed, and which can be produced with a relatively simple device. SOLUTION: This method for producing paper for preventing counterfeit comprises tightly guiding wet paper, in whose paper layer a thread T is buried, onto a center roll 3 on whose surface projections 2 are intermittently disposed at a prescribed space, scratching the surface of the wet paper on the projections with a scraping roll 4, moving the surface fibers of the wet paper on the projections to intermittently form the exposed portions of the thread on the surface of the wet paper, and then drying the paper by a conventional method. |
