The machine can bend one or more sides of sheet metal workpieces with different dimensions. It includes a workpiece seating unit, a bending jaw which can pivot, a top jaw and a tool (3) serving as a holding down unit. The tool (3) is made up of several segments. It has a first group of segments (7) which can be changed and/or have at least one slit (8) with a width (8) capable of accommodating a bent workpiece edge. It has a second group of segments (9) which can be adjusted relative to one another and relative to the segments (7) in the direction of the bending line (B). |
