The present disclosure relates to a jet pump tail cone insert for a jet pump. The jet pump tail cone insert comprises a cap, a body and an end member. The end member has a plurality of projections configured to matingly receive a plurality of forks of the body. When connected together, the body and the end member have a plurality of receivers configured to receive stator veins of a bearing hub of the jet pump. The body and the end member are configured to be proximate the stator veins. The cap is configured to matingly couple to the body. The jet pump tail cone insert encompasses a portion of the bearing hub of the jet pump. The jet pump tail cone insert occupies within the bearing hub thereby increasing a flow rate of water through the jet pump.
