<p>A sheet processing apparatus is provided with a feed/transfer mechanism (51), which has press rollers (33a, 33b) and feed rollers (38a, 38b) to press and hold an leading end portion of a stack of paper (3"), as shown in Fig. 6. The feed/transfer mechanism (51) is provided with rack plates (54a, 54b) to which feed rollers (38a, 38b) are turnably attached; U/D plates (53a, 53b), which are engaged with the rack plates (54a, 54b) to be removable vertically to the rack plates, and have press rollers (33a, 33b) turnably attached thereto; and a press roller shifting motor (58) for vertically driving the rack plates (54a, 54b) and the U/D plates (53a, 53b); and a feed/drive motor (59) for driving the feed rollers (38a, 38b).</p> |
