PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated biaxially oriented polyester film having an excellent color tone and excellent adhesive force to layers used in a variety of FPD applications. SOLUTION: The oriented polyester film has a laminated film of a thickness of 30-120 nm and a refractive index of 1.4-1.53 on one or both sides, the number of cross cuts of≥90 which remain after forming 100 one-square-mm cross cuts in a laminated film, adhering a Nichiban-made cellophane tape onto the resultant film, applying a stress of 100 kPa and peeling the film at a rate of 10 mm/s in the 90-degree direction and a plane orientation coefficient, fn, of≥0.16, where the plane orientation coefficient is defined by Equation (1): fn=(n<SB>MD</SB>+n<SB>TD</SB>)/2-n<SB>ZD</SB>(wherein, n<SB>MD</SB>is the refractive index in the longitudinal direction of the surface, n<SB>TD</SB>is the refractive index in the transverse direction of the surface, and n<SB>ZD</SB>is the refractive index in the vertical direction of the surface).
