PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ink penetrating in through a contact part between a front shaft tube and each member such as an internal member in the front shaft tube, from oozing out from the rear portion of the front shaft tube connecting with the rear shaft tube, without changing a conventional structure and by a simple structure, that any possibility of impairing or damaging each member including the internal member and the front shaft tube, in regard to a fountain pen having a structure that the front shaft tube is put on the internal member fitted with a penpoint and a pen core and the rear shaft tube is screwed removably in the rear end of the front shaft tube. SOLUTION: Ink holding grooves 20 formed like rings and causing a capillary phenomenon are provided on the outer wall surface 4a of the internal member 4 opposed to the inner wall surface 5b of the front shaft tube 5, so that the grooves are juxtaposed in four lines in the axial direction.
