<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can be charged at a high charging voltage of more than 4.3 V and 4.6 V or less by lithium standard using a plurality of kinds of positive electrode active materials having different physical properties, and is superior in charge and discharge cycle characteristics and charge preservation characteristics without deteriorating battery capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode active material of the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains a lithium-cobalt complex oxide in which at least zirconium and magnesium are added and a lithium-nickel manganese complex oxide having a layered structure. The lithium cobalt complex oxide includes at least two kinds of zirconium, magnesium added lithium cobalt complex oxide having different added quantity of zirconium. The charging potential of the positive electrode active material is higher than 4.3 V and 4.6 V or less in lithium standard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
