<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in a conventional technology, a method for fixing an ear portion (attachment piece) of a curtain airbag and a metal bracket includes positioning the ear portion in the folded bracket and plastically deforming the bracket to pinch and fix the ear portion, however, since the ear portion and the bracket are fixed by firstly positioning the bracket and the ear portion and then by plastically deforming the bracket, many man-hours are liable to be necessary for the installation work. <P>SOLUTION: In the fixing structure for fixing the airbag having an airbag body 2 and the installation piece 3 to a vehicle-body installation member (flaw-preventing cover 1), the installation piece 3 forms an extending part 9 extending from an installation base 8, fixes the installation base 8 and the extending part 9, forms a marginal part 5 at the tip end of the installation base 8, and makes the marginal part 5 abut on the opening edge of a through hole 4 formed at the vehicle-body installation member (flaw-preventing cover 1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
