<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and an image processing apparatus, which can expand the recording and erasing regions, can ensure a sufficient erasing period of time, can perform an even erasing, and are excellent in erasing property. <P>SOLUTION: At least in either of an image recording process and an image erasing process, a laser beam is a parallel beam for this image processing method, and there are three preferable configurations (1), (2) and (3). In the configuration (1), the laser beam scanning speed for a peripheral section to the laser beam axial center section is made slower than the laser beam scanning speed for the laser beam axial center section. In the configuration (2), the laser output for the peripheral section to the laser beam axial central section is made higher than the laser output for the laser beam axial central section. In the configuration (3), the duplication of the irradiation section which is adjacent to the irradiation section of the laser beam for the peripheral section to the laser beam axial central section is made larger than the duplication of the irradiation section which is adjacent to the irradiation section of the laser beam for the laser beam axial central section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
