PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for mounting an imaging element, capable of reducing a failure occurring in an obtained image and an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The substrate for mounting the imaging element includes a wiring board 2 having a main surface and a plurality of imaging element mounting parts 11 which are provided in the main surface and on which the imaging element 10 is mounted.
