PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that projects an image of high picture quality.SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a light source which emits a light beam; and an optical reflecting element 300 which has a reflection part irradiated with the light beam and scans reflected light of the light beam through rotation of the reflection part. The reflection part vibrates at a first frequency fin a first period. The reflection part rotates at a second frequency fdifferent from the first frequency fin a second period different from the first period. The optical scanner removes dust from the reflection part timely so as to make a projected image high in picture quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
