PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion resistance improvement method of a flexible hose improving abrasion resistance while suppressing significant increase in weight and flexural rigidity of the whole flexible hose, with the flexible hose for slurry containing a solid as a target, and provide a flexible hose and a manufacturing method of the flexible hose.SOLUTION: A liner material 20 having abrasion resistance to a solid S is wound in a spiral manner with a predetermined gap, to constitute a spiral liner 30. The spiral liner 30 is arranged on the inside of a hose inner pipe 10 comprising a soft material.
