PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod top protector that is contracted and a shaking type, and provide a fishing rod with the same.SOLUTION: This fishing rod top protector includes a tubular body 110, a rib integrally molded in the inner surface of the tubular body 110, and a slit 130 opened to the tubular body 110 in front of the rib. The fishing rod is inserted in the inside of the tubular body 110 from the tip through an insertion port 111I of the rear end of the tubular body 110. The rib includes a guide passage groove for permitting a portion of passage among the guides of the fishing rod 200 but a portion of the remainder is locked. The guide passage groove extends in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body 110 and has a smaller width in the front end side of the tubular body 110. The slit 130 has a width larger than the width in the front end of the guide passage groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
