Vacuum Debris Collection Box Having Sloped Debris Chute

A vacuum box (10) in fluid communication with a tractor (11) that removes coatings from surfaces. The vacuum box (10) includes a vacuum inlet in fluid communication with a source of negative pressure and a debris inlet (46) in fluid communication with the tractor (11) so that debris is drawn into and 5 collected within a hollow interior of the vacuum box (10). A water outlet provides a drain for water that collects within the vacuum box (10). A sloped false bottom wall (24) is disposed within the hollow interior so that debris collects atop it. The vacuum box (10) is emptied by draining water from it, followed by opening a door (28) formed in the vacuum box ((10) at the lower 10 end of the sloped false bottom wall (24) so that the collected debris slides down the false bottom wall (24) and out the door (28) into a debris receptacle.
