PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-security non-volatile storage device and a processing method for the same.SOLUTION: A non-volatile memory device 10, which is a non-volatile storage device to be connected to a terminal 100, comprises a non-volatile storage section 16. The non-volatile storage section 16 has a partition management region 20 which is managed by a partition and a non-partition management region 34 which is not managed by the partition. The non-partition management region 34 stores an OS body 50. The partition management region 20 stores a boot OS 40 to boot up the OS body 50 and a connection program 42 which has storage position information 44 of the non-partition management region 34 and enables the non-partition management region 34 to be connected. A terminal control section 102 of the terminal 100 boots up the boot OS 40 and is connected to the non-partition management region 34 on the basis of the connection information 42 to boot up the OS body 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
