PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an interruption notification in speech communication without changing a standard SIP sequence.SOLUTION: A speech communication system includes: first communication equipment; second communication equipment in which speech communication with the first communication equipment is performed through an SIP server; and a control unit which performs call control between the first communication equipment and the second communication equipment. When a call is originated from the first communication equipment to the second communication equipment, if the second communication equipment is in communication with other communication equipment, the control unit transmits a message to notify the second communication equipment of the interruption of speech communication, through a message server not through the SIP server. Based on the message received from the control unit through the message server, the second communication equipment displays the interruption notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
