PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin film suitable for producing a prepreg excellent in grade, step passability and molding workability and capable of providing a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material jointly having excellent impact resistance, interlayer toughness and interlayer shear strength, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a resin film by coating on a release paper using a reverse roll coater system, in which a thermocurable resin composition essentially consisting of the following (1) and (2) on a release paper in such a manner that the B/C ratio defined in the specification reaches 0.5 to 0.9 to produce a resin film with a resin thickness of A μm: (1) it includes the first particles made of a thermoplastic resin in which the volume average particle dimeter of 0.8 A μm or lower to the resin thickness A μm of the resin film by 20 to 50 mass%; and (2) it includes the second particles in which the volume average particle diameter is A to 1.8 A μm to the resin thickness A μm of the resin film, and also, the content of coarse particles exceeding A μm is 2 mass% or lower by 1 to 5 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
