PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified viruses for treating diseases that selectively exert cell-killing activity on diseases associated with cancer cells or the cells accelerating stabilization of ARE-mRNA, such as osteoporosis, rheumatism, viral disease and inflammatory disease.SOLUTION: The invention provides an antitumor adenovirus formulation (described as dl355 in Fig. 1) containing a modified adenovirus with E4orf6 encoding an E4orf6 protein in which C-terminal region is deleted or a modified E4orf6 protein consisting of an amino acid sequence represented by a particular sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
