<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly determine leakage of fuel in a common rail, in an accumulator fuel injection device for feeding fuel to the common rail by a fuel feeding pump. <P>SOLUTION: In a summing section 54, the estimated amount QL of fuel leaked is acquired based on leakage QINJ in an injector 40, acquired by a leakage calculating section 51, the amount QTotal of fuel acquired by an injection amount calculating section 52 and injected to a combustion chamber from the injector 40, and the estimate QPC of the amount of fuel led to flow out, acquired by a fuel outflow amount estimate calculating section 53. After that, the derivative value of the estimated amount QL of fuel leaked is acquired by a derivative amount calculating section 55, thereby acquiring the estimated amount QL' of fuel leaked after filtering with a variation in the estimated amount QL with respect to time increased.
