PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing slag on a molten metal surface of molten steel from entering and remaining in an injection chamber.SOLUTION: In a tundish, a runner road 16 disposed at a partition gate 15 includes a first runner road 16a shifting downward from an injection chamber 13 to a strand chamber 14 and a second runner road 16b shifting upward from the injection chamber to the strand chamber, where the first runner road 16a is located below the second runner road within a width direction range of the second runner road, a side of the injection chamber of the first runner road is communicated with a side of the injection chamber of the second runner road, and a bottom part of the strand chamber communicated with an outlet 18a of the first runner road is located at a bottom edge or lower of the outlet of the first runner road. The tundish satisfies following formula: 0.08≤D,0.08≤D,d≤0.3,d≤0.3,(x+y)≤1,(x+(y-y))≤1,y≤0,y=d(1+y/x)-y,y≥0,y=y-y-d(1+(y-y)/x),y/x≤1,(y-y)/x≤1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A |
