PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for facilitating the new installation or exchange of a processor built-in device in an information processing system in which a plurality of processor built-in devices operate by software of a plurality of versions.SOLUTION: A processor built-in device software management device includes: receiving notification information including the identification information and installation position information of a processor built-in device from the processor built-in device; detecting that the processor built-in device has been newly installed on the basis of identification information included in device management configuration information and the identification information included in the notification information; determining the version of software to be used by the processor built-in device on the basis of the identification information and version information included in the identification information device configuration management information included in the notification information; and determining which of the other processor built-in devices should be a provision source for the processor built-in device to acquire software on the basis of the version of the software to be used by the processor built-in device and the version information and identification information included in the device configuration management information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
