PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller of which the structure is simplified, is downsized and reduces cost, capable of stably maintaining a DC voltage value of a DC link capacitor.SOLUTION: The motor controller comprises: a forward converter 11 which performs power conversion between AC power of an AC power source 3 and DC power of a DC link; a DC link capacitor 13 that is provided in the DC link; a backward converter 12 which performs power conversion between the DC power of the DC link and AC power at a side of a motor 2; a DC voltage detection part 14 which detects the DC voltage value of the DC link; a command generation part 15 which generates a motor driving command for controlling a power converting operation of the backward converter 12 in such a manner that the motor 2 performs a rotating operation; a speed change rate storage part 16 which stores a speed change rate for motor speed reduction to be used for generating the motor driving command; and a speed change rate change part 17 which changes the speed change rate for motor speed reduction being stored in the speed change rate storage part 16 into a smaller speed change rate for motor speed reduction if the DC voltage value detected by the DC voltage detection part 14 exceeds a threshold during motor speed reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
