PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device capable of avoiding destruction of a semiconductor relay while reducing power consumption even when starting a vehicle.SOLUTION: A power supply control device 1 provided to a vehicle, comprises: a semiconductor relay 21 which is provided between a battery 3 and a load 5 and allows a connection between the battery 3 and the load 5; and a drive circuit 13 which applies a gate voltage Vg to a gate of the semiconductor relay 21 on the basis of a load current Id that flows through the load 5, and a drain-source voltage Vds of the semiconductor relay 21. When starting the vehicle and performing charging, the drive circuit 13 controls the load current Id and the drain-source voltage Vds within a range of a safety operation area SOA of the semiconductor relay 21 while raising the gate voltage Vg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
