PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of achieving light emission of high luminance with high luminous efficiency, by increasing the optical coupling efficiency from a light-emitting element to a light transmitting member.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a light transmitting member having the light-emitting surface and the light-receiving surface of the light-emitting device; a light-emitting element including an emission surface facing the light-receiving surface, and being bonded to the light transmitting member; and a light guide member provided to extend from the light-emitting element surface to the light transmitting member surface, and guiding the emission light from the light-emitting element to the light transmitting member. The light guide member has: a junction region for bonding the emission surface of the light-emitting element and the light-receiving surface of the light transmitting member while facing each other; and a first coating region extending from the junction region, and covering the surface of one of the light-emitting element and light transmitting member projecting outward from the junction region. A first reflection surface for reflecting the emission light to the light transmitting member side is provided on the outer surface of the first coating region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
