PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle operation data recording apparatus configured to comply with a technical standard, and capable of mitigating burden on adjustment work, and suppressing the occurrence of a relative deviation of a measurement value from a vehicle speed output from a vehicle speed meter.SOLUTION: A communication interface is provided to connect to a communication network present in a vehicle, to acquire speed information (Dsp) common to a vehicle speed meter of the vehicle from the network. To acquire number-of-pulses information (number of speed pulses Np) required by a technical standard, a speed pulse (speed pulse signal SG1) is input to a speed pulse input interface (16), a speed pulse cycle (Tsp) is measured, and the number-of-pulses information (number of speed pulses Np) is calculated and acquired on the basis of the speed information and a speed pulse cycle.
