A machine for harvesting blueberries from blueberry plants, comprising, at least one rake adapted to pass through a blueberry plant and remove blueberries therefrom, a receptacle for blueberries, means for conveying blueberries from the at least one rake to the receptacle, means for orienting the at least one rake to a first orientation for removing the blueberries from the blueberry plant, means for orienting the at least one rake to a second orientation for removing the blueberries from the at least one rake, wherein the first orientation is more horizontal than the second orientation.
